In his workshop, Thomas Lommée
worked with the students around the issues and possiblities of the
station environment. Over time, the brainstorm (and the post-its)
became structured like this:
- Interesting technological innovations
- [What's the next use of... / How to improve...] Infrastructure
- [How to have more interesting...] (Inter)actions
- [How to avoid?] Issues
- [How to achieve?] Goals
Once the students
gathered around 10 topics on a certain topic, Thomas asked them to
group the issues. For instance under Infrastructure, there was for
instance Elevators, Check-in, Lobby, Train ticket system, NMBS.be (the national railway website) ...
This could be organised further into Spatial infrastructure: Elevators, Lobby,... Organisational infrastructure: Train ticket system, Check-in Digital infrastructure: NMBS.be
Adding the questions was an effective way to transform topics into ideas and solutions.
